Brantley LeCroy got his first start of the year after coming off an injury and combined with Michael Fox to throw a three-hit shutout over Dothan. Jalin Lawson drove in the game's only run in the third inning with a double that scored Fox from second base to give the Trojans the 1-0 final margin. LeCroy pitched three innings and allowed only one hit. Fox came on in relief to pitch the final four innings, striking out two. Neither pitcher allowed a runner past second base. Lawson finished 1-3 with an RBI and Joey Denison had a single.
CHHS travels to Brantley on Tuesday before resuming area three play with Rehobeth on Thursday.
