Trojan Infielders Set State Record for Double Plays

In the Trojans April 13 victory over Northview, the CHHS infield comprised of Luke Hastings (3B), Michael Fox (SS), Jalin Lawson (2B), and Joey Denison (1B) set the state record for most double plays in a game with five. The Trojans turned a 4-6-3 double play in the 1st and 2nd innings, a 5-4-3 double play in the 3rd and 4th inning, and finished the game with a 4-6-3 double play in the 7th inning.

CHHS also entered the AHSAA record book earlier this season by being hit by a pitch eight times in a victory over LAMP. Charles Henderson is currently represented in the record book in the following categories: most homeruns by a player in a game (3), most homeruns in an inning by a team (4), most consecutive homeruns in an inning by a team (4), most HBPs in a game (8), and most double plays turned in a game (5).
