Mabray Pitches Trojans to Third Consecutive Shutout

Senior Houston Mabray pitched a complete game shut out and struck out five to lead the Trojans to a 5-0 victory over Marbury Thursday night at Riverwalk Stadium in Montgomery. He improved his record to 3-1 on the season.

Offensively Tripp Blackmon was 2-3 with two doubles and an RBI. Joey Denison was 2-4 with a two run double and Chase Smartt added a double as well. Blake Craft drove in the game's first run in the second inning with a single and Luke Hastings was 103 with a stolen base.

CHHS continues play in the Jason Armstrong Memorial FCA Tournament on Saturday against LAMP and Providence Christian at Paterson Field in Montgomery. First pitch against LAMP is scheduled for 3:00.
